The most predominant crypto wallet currently is MetaMask. The cool thing about this wallet is that it's a browser extension that works with Chrome and other browsers. MetaMask is web 3’s most popular wallet and one of the oldest players in the industry.

IMPORTANT NOTE - MetaMask is a "hot wallet" which means it is always connected to the internet and thus has risks associated with it. NEVER store your password or "Seed Phrase" on your computer or online, write it down somewhere offline in multiple copies and store them securely!

If you end up creating a lot of NFTs (or holding a lot of crypto) you should consider a "cold storage wallet" which is connected with the internet manually and has additional security features. More on cold storage wallets in the "SECURITY BASICS" section.

Pro Tip: Consider having 2 hot wallets with 1 with very little crypto or even empty and only used for testing a sites legitimacy before connecting with your hot wallet with assets inside.

If you decide to look for an alternative it's great to DYOR but be aware that you will need a wallet that holds Eth as some wallets for crypto trading are exclusively for Bitcoin.

The technology and recommendations in this area are always updating so be sure to DYOR but if you're looking out there be sure you're looking for an NFT wallet like the ones in this article;
